Junior Staff
We are so thankful for your desire to serve the Lord and be a part of our Junior Staff Summer Ministry Team. Our Junior Staff team is a volunteer position and is a vital part of our summer camp ministry. We would not be able to run camp as smoothly and effectively if it were not for you.
*Please note that all positions are ministry positions and will provide opportunities, if sought out, to share the good news of Jesus Christ with campers.
Junior Staff Ladies

Responsibilities Include: getting the dining hall set up and ready for each meal, cleaning after the meals are done, cleaning the buildings around camp, and running our camp canteen.

Requirements: have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, finish the 9th grade before summer camp begins, and complete a Junior Staff application with references. Click here for printable or online application
Maintenance Crew

This crew consists of 2-3 Junior Staff guys and one college age Maintenance Coordinator.

Responsibilities Include: camp maintenance, grounds keeping, cleaning, helping run camper activities and etc.

Junior Counselor

This is an important leadership position and requires that each Junior Counselor lives in the cabin with a Sr. Counselor and up to 10 campers.

Responsibilities Include: assisting your Sr. counselor in any way needed, using the opportunities available to provide a week of fun and spiritual growth for your campers, being willing to “wear many hats” and perform extra duties if requested, and always showing a good attitude.

*For each week you serve on our Junior Staff team for Summer 2025,
you will receive a 25% discount off your teen week of camp.
*Although all our Junior Staff positions are volunteer (meaning you will not be paid by Camp Ta-Pa-Win-Go),
we are confident that the blessings you will receive from serving God and the children here will be great!
If needed, we can also provide you with a letter that you can use to tell your family,
friends and church about your summer ministry opportunity.
This will allow them the opportunity to support you as a summer missionary.
Also if requested, at the end of the summer,
you can receive a certificate showing the community service hours you worked.
