JUNIOR ENTREPRENEURS KID TO KID SALE

We are so excited about our first “Junior Entrepreneurs Kid to Kid Sale!”  When I was a child our local mall would have a kids sale.  We were able to reserve a spot in the aisle to set up a table and sell our toys.  It was so much fun!  I remember making $150.00 selling my barbie dolls.  This is a favorite memory of mine from growing up, and we wanted to help make some fun memories for your kids too!

 

WHAT CAN YOU SELL:

This sale is designed for kids to sell items that other kids would want to buy including toys, games, books, movies, puzzles, musical items, outdoor toys, sporting goods, electronic items that kids use, learning toys, school supplies, and kids bedroom decor.

 

We will NOT be selling clothes or shoes at this sale.  (Which I secretly would like to do, lol, but this sale is set up for kids to be the main customers.)

 

If you are not certain if an item is allowed, don’t hesitate to ask. 

 

If your child is gifted in making crafts or baked goods, things you would purchase at a craft sale, those are allowed too!

 

  • All items need to be in proper working order. 

  • Make sure you have all the pieces if possible.

  • If the item needs batteries to work, those need to be included.

  • No broken toys or items.

  • Remember this is a Kid to Kids sale, please be sure to only include items that kids would want to buy.

  • All items need to remain in your selling area, which includes on or under your selling tables.

 

PRICING AND SELLING YOUR ITEMS:

You will be in charge of pricing and selling your items.  We will let everyone know we will only be accepting cash.  We suggest pricing items in 25 cents, 50 cents, or $1.00 increments.  This will make handling the money easier for you and your child.  You will need to be sure to have your own cash box ready with change.

 

COST:

$6.00 to reserve your spot with a 6-foot table.

$8.00 to reserve your spot with an 8-foot table.

 

You will be able to select which option you need on the registration form. You are allowed to have more than one child sell at a table, but only one table can be reserved per registration.  Be sure to list all children that will be selling at the table on your registration form.

SET-UP AND TAKE DOWN:

You can come to set up your table on Thursday, March 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm or Friday, March 18th from 2:00‑8:00 pm. If these times do not work for you, please let us know.   All items will need to be packed up by 5:00 pm on Saturday the 19th.  If you would like to donate any of your remaining items for our Camp’s spring yard sale, you can bring your donation items to the camp store.

 

DAY OF THE SALE:

The sale will start at 10:00 am on Saturday the 19th. We are asking all of our sellers to park in the ballfield.  There will be orange parking signs and parking attendants directing you where to go.

 

Please arrive by 8:45 am and be at your table by 9:00 am. We would love to let your “Junior Entrepreneurs” all have the opportunity to shop early. 

 

The logistics here might be a little tricky, since you will have your own table to run, and also be shopping.  We are asking the parents or guardians to run the table from 9:00-9:45, to allow your kids to shop.  Feel free to have an extra parent or guardian come and help at this time.

 

If you will not be able to come for the presale, please be at your table no later than 9:45 am.

 

The front gym doors will be locked until 10:00 am. You will need to enter the door on the right side of the gym by the volleyball court.  The door will have a Junior Entrepreneurs Only Entrance Sign on it.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

Please do not leave your child unattended at the sale from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  We ask that one parent or guardian stay with the child at all times during the sale.

 

Our camp store and canteen will be open with snacks, drinks and some light lunch items for purchase.  You are more than welcome to bring a small cooler and a sack lunch with you.  One water bottle per person will be provided as well as a breakfast snack.

 

Our craft room will also be open during the sale.  The craft room is located upstairs in the gym.  We are planning a fun FREE craft for kids to make in preparation for Easter.  We will provide a take-home packet of the craft for your kids, in case they do not have time to go upstairs.
